Automated Guided Vehicles
Within our R&D facility, we have developed an AGV using Inductive Power and Control. With this technology the vehicle does not require batteries.
The saving of battery weight allows a load capacity of 500kg for a relatively small vehicle.
The vehicle is equipped with a powered roller conveyor section that handles standard Euro Pallets. Pallets are transferred from vehicle to off-board roller conveyors via a handshake protocol.
This type of vehicle is ideally suited to warehouse applications.
